Regardless, there's no point in derailing this thread and arguing about semantics. The issue is that there is both a C and D drive on the same drive, and that logical partitions would overlap. My experience says otherwise. No file is so retentive to care about the file system presentation to the end user as to not allow the storage to expand. That sounds wrong Gabrielle.L the "immediately to the right" doesn't matter. What I'm saying is that it will only work if the unallocated space is immediately to the right of C. There is 100gb unallocated space, i was hoping i can use that to extend C.
